Eco- Logic (WBAI):Town Hall Meeting in Long Beach, NY

WBAI’s Ken Gale starts with Pete Seeger’s “Do, Do, Do, Do, Something Good” before going into his main “Do Something Good” discussion: Long Beach (Long Island) Connects to the World: A Town Meeting On Saturday, February 8th.” Speakers include: JK Canepa from New York Climate Action Group; David Alicea from Sierra Club’s “Beyond Coal Campaign”; Bob Hennelly, Interim Program Director of WBAI and of course, Ken himself. Other announcements and topics abound but the main focus is on the town’s decision to keep replacing their rare earth wooden boardwalk over and over again with non-ecological sounding remedies and announcing that event for the upcoming Saturday.
