Sheila Bushkin-Bedient, MD, MPH received her medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 1980, the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in June 1982 and her Masters of Public Health from the SUNY Albany School of Public Health. She has been an active member of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) for 15 years, where she has served on many committees concerned with public health education and advocacy.
