XL DISSENT: America’s Youth Protest Against The Keystone XL Pipeline On Sunday, March 2, 2014, a group of young people called XL Dissent organized a march from Georgetown University to Lafayette Park, which is opposite the White House, to register their opposition to the possible approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline. NEWS BRIEF: NO KXL! – XL Dissent On Sunday, March 2, 2014, the youthful group “XL Dissent” rallied, marched and then nearly 400 participated in a Civil Disobedience Action at the front fence of the White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.
